<p><strong>Historic Vehicle Registration (Class L)</strong></p> <ul class="list"> <li>To qualify as a historic vehicle (Class L), your vehicle must be a passenger vehicle, motorcycle, or truck (GVWR of 10,000 pounds or less) that:</li> <li>Is at least 20 calendar years old.</li> <li>Has not been substantially altered, remodelled, or remanufactured from its original design.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Usage Restrictions:</strong></p> <ul class="list"> <li>A historic vehicle cannot be used for:</li> <li>Daily transportation or commuting.</li> <li>Regular passenger or property transport on highways.</li> <li>Employment, school, or commercial purposes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>It may be used for:</strong></p> <ul class="list"> <li>Exhibitions, club activities, parades, tours, and occasional transportation.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Guidelines:</strong></p> <ul class="list"> <li>Trailers do not qualify for historic registration.</li> <li>Trucks over 10,000 pounds GVWR, tractors, and motor homes must be at least 25 years old and unmodified.</li> <li>These larger vehicles cannot be used for occasional or commercial transport and must be insured with a Historic, Show, or Antique Vehicle policy.</li> <li>Vehicles 60 years or older may obtain permanent, non-transferable registration for a one-time fee but do not qualify for special registration plates.</li> </ul>
